An envelope containing 13,000 euros: Taxi drivers frequently find valuables in their taxis, but this does not happen often. This is exactly what happened to Fazli A., who has been part of the Taxi 40100 fleet since 1995, a few days ago. But all’s well that ends well: The customer received her money back. And Fazli A. is pleased to receive a gold ducat as a “finder’s fee” from the Taxi 40100 dispatch center.
“We are delighted to have so many outstanding taxi drivers like Fazli in our fleet. Honesty and humanity are values we live by,” says Eveline Hruza, General Secretary of Taxi 40100.
For Fazli A., it was a matter of course to bring the envelope to the woman (free of charge). “The lady was truly very relieved when I gave her the envelope. Especially since it apparently was not even her money, but her boss’s. She would have had double the trouble,” the taxi driver concluded.
