The AST is a service provided by LINZ AG LINIEN and CC Taxicenter GmbH.
The call-and-ride taxi on schedule, which you share with other passengers, takes you quickly and affordably to your desired destination.
Reach your destination faster together
The AST operates during the day in certain areas of Linz as well as during nighttime hours within Linz and to the following neighboring municipalities: Ansfelden, Gramastetten, Hörsching, Leonding, Pasching, Puchenau, Traun, Oftering, Kirchberg-Thening, Lichtenberg, and Walding.
Day and night
You can board the Night AST between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM at the orange-marked AST departure points within the Linz city area.
The Day AST connects the areas of Mönchgraben, Wambach, Dießenleiten, Gründberg, and Traunau to the LINZ AG public transport network.
Your direct connection
Call the Linz telephone number 0732 / 66 12 66 at least 15 minutes before your desired departure time and arrive at the agreed AST departure point.
You will be taken affordably and comfortably to your destination within the service area—not by bus or tram, but by taxi.

Call us
Call the Linz telephone number 0732/661266 at least 15 minutes before your desired departure time and provide the following information:
- AST departure point
- Destination address
- Departure time
- Name
- Date
- Number of passengers

Departure at the departure point
Arrive punctually at the agreed AST departure point. You will recognize your call-and-ride taxi by the clearly visible AST sign. You will receive your ticket from the driver. If you are the first passenger, please ensure that the taximeter is only switched on at departure.

Arrive on time
The AST will take you safely and comfortably to your desired drop-off point within the service area, e.g., right to your doorstep. If you are the last passenger to exit, please confirm the amount shown on the taximeter with your signature on the ticket block.
Day AST
With the Day AST, you can travel from your departure stop to another AST stop or to any address within the respective Day AST service area.
