Taxi 40100 considers it its obligation to provide comprehensive radio training both for customers and for the affiliated taxi operators and the drivers employed there. The modernly equipped taxi school offers not only daytime and evening courses for taxi drivers, but also numerous advanced training courses for taxi drivers who are already active. Friendly and experienced taxi operators are available to you throughout the entire training program.

At our in-house taxi driver training school, we provide targeted preparation for the exam to ensure you pass with confidence. After all, every high-quality profession requires equally high-quality training.

Radio/perfection course

- 8 hours (Day 1): data radio training and airport trips

After the extensive theoretical training, the practical training takes place on the DBG X800 operating terminal, with card reader, printer, and taximeter.

The presentation of the entire training content is delivered by experienced taxi operators who have been active in the taxi industry for many years.
Radio (perfection) courses
We accept course registrations only after prior in-person registration at the taxi school and upon full payment of the course fee. You will receive the ID confirmation after successfully passing the radio test and upon presentation of your valid Vienna taxi driver ID.

Taxi driver courses
Day course: 1 week, Mon–Thu 9:00 AM–4:00 PM | Evening course: 2 weeks, Mon–Thu 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
We accept your course registration only upon full payment of the course fee. Please bring your driving licence when registering. You will receive all training materials upon course registration.

Requirements for driver training
According to the Federal Operating Regulations (BGBl. 951), you must meet the following requirements to be allowed to drive a taxi:
Driving licence for category B (Section 65(1) KFG 1967) (no probationary licence)
- Passenger car driving experience: at least one year before the taxi driver ID is issued
- Minimum age: you must have reached the age of 20
- Proof of a “first aid course” (at least 6 hours)
- The application will be approved only if no prior convictions appear in the criminal record and the traffic offences register in the last 5 years (gross negligence and repeated offences)
- To be admitted to the taxi driver exam, proof of completed training is required
