Filip Filipou is a dedicated taxi driver. He has been self-employed for over 20 years and runs the company VIEtransfers.at. For the past 10 years, he has also been actively involved in the taxi guild. Today, Wednesday, a special challenge awaits the 53-year-old. \u201cI\u2019ve been booked to pick someone up from Ukraine,\u201d says Filipou. A six-and-a-half-hour drive and a lot of anxiety accompany the man, who set off on his journey in his taxi at 8.30 am. \u201cI\u2019ve planned the route well and prepared myself; everything will be fine,\u201d says the entrepreneur confidently. Did he ever hesitate to accept the job? \u201cNo!\u201d says Filipou. And: \u201cIf I can help, I\u2019m happy to do so!\u201d <\/p>\n\n
But should he drive an empty car into an area where people lack the bare necessities?
