In addition, Taxi 40100 is donating taxi vouchers worth 1,000 euros to Volkshilfe Wien. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The war in Ukraine leaves us all speechless. Standing by and doing nothing is out of the question for Taxi 40100,&#8221; says Eveline Hruza, Secretary General of Taxi 40100. For this reason, the Vienna-based taxi dispatcher has decided on two measures. &#8220;As immediate aid, we are providing Volkshilfe Wien with taxi vouchers worth 1,000 euros,&#8221; says Hruza. Volkshilfe collects donations in kind and looks after Ukrainian refugees in Vienna. &#8220;We thank Taxi 40100 for this great and important donation!&#8221; says Tanja Wehsely, Managing Director of Volkshilfe Wien, expressing her delight at the generous support for refugees of the war in Ukraine.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a second measure, Taxi 40100 is giving away 40 training places at the Taxi 40100 taxi school to Ukrainian refugees. &#8220;This is help for self-help. We want to enable refugees to work in our beautiful city and soon be able to stand on their own two feet financially again,&#8221; Hruza continues. Naturally, Taxi 40100 will also cover the costs of the required advanced training course for the new drivers. The taxi driver training and the advanced course normally cost 460 euros per person.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Our taxi school offers one-week day courses and 10-day evening courses. The taxi driver courses include local geography, police safety training, and information on working hours law. The 3-day advanced course covers topics such as cashless payment options in taxis,&#8221; says Leopold Kautzner, head of the Taxi 40100 taxi school. Interested parties can find information at www.taxischule.at and register at office@taxischule.at. The campaign is not limited in time. Requirements include a minimum age of 20, one year of driving experience, a certificate of good conduct, and German language skills (A2 level). There are several institutes in Vienna that offer German courses.&#8221;    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The job is male-dominated, and there are more men than women working in this profession.
